Watertown TV plays a crucial role in the local media landscape, serving as a beacon of community engagement and connectivity. With a mandate from the City to enhance communication "within and for" the community, the center serves as a platform for both city government and residents alike.

At its core, Watertown TV is more than just a television station; it's a cornerstone of the City of Watertown's Media Productions Department. Under the leadership of Media and Communications Director Lisa Famularo, the mission of the Media Productions team is to engage all residents of Watertown, connecting them with city information, services, and events using all available forms of media, and to provide an open line of communication between residents, city staff, and elected officials. Media Productions Manager Shea Harrod, along with Production Assistants Max Alexander, Alyssa Brooks, and Evan Rodriguez, work tirelessly to bring high-quality, locally relevant programming and communication to the community. Watertown TV’s programming is available on YouTube and Vimeo, and residents can stay connected through Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as the City’s website.

For those who appreciate the nostalgia of classic television, Watertown TV offers familiar comfort. Broadcasting on Spectrum Cable channels 985 for community programming and 984 for government affairs, the station reaches households across Watertown and neighboring communities like Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, and Palmyra, among others.

From coverage of Watertown High School sports events to community festivals and beyond, Watertown TV's mission is clear: to engage all residents, connecting them with vital city information, services, and events through various forms of media. Whether it's through a televised broadcast, online streaming, or social media engagement, the center continues to evolve and adapt to the changing needs of its audience, and remains committed to being the pulse of Watertown's vibrant community.
